What do you do when you have exercised for years only to injure yourself, get little no results and feel down right discouraged? After all of that, can you even believe a word that comes from the health and fitness industry? Melinda did. Sort of. It took a while and some prodding but she did take a chance. So, it turns out that I am a kettlebell specialist and I have this studio and I rarely actually write articles or talk about kettlebell technique. Today I am going to drop you a couple of videos on the Turkish Get Up. The Turkish Get Up is one of the fundamental kettlebell techniques and an absolutely amazing total body strength exercise. Strength, shoulder mobility, core strength, kinestetic awareness, all in one exercise; you can’t go wrong.
Crazy right? Those are not the words you want to hear from your trainer. But it is the truth, I honestly cannot help you. I have a quick story for you today that will help you understand why I can’t help you and why you should be happy about that.
