I like my fats.  They are awesome.  I tell all of my members to eat more fats.  And here is the great secret, they actually make you lose MORE FAT!  What?  How can that be? Are you kidding me?  It’s true, fats belong in our diet and in much greater quantities than you think.

Did you know that since the government officially began promoting the low fat high grain (carb) diet, the obesity rates in America have skyrocketed?  In fact there is no state in the country that has less than a 20% obesity rate.  That is ridiculous.   Continue reading

Hey welcome back from the big Christmas holiday.  I hope you got a chance to try out my special Christmas workout and enjoy your day.  Now it’s time to get back to the meat and potatoes of things (at least for another few days before New Year’s anyways).  Last time we talked, I shared with you an article on the link between cancer and sugar.  In case you don’t remember you can check out the post here.

In short, cancer feeds off of sugar.  BTW, I don’t believe the reference article mentioned this, but there is no archeological evidence of cancer prior to the advent of mass agriculture.  That is to say that cancer is a completely modern disease and completely preventable.   Continue reading

Sample 1300 Calorie meal Plan

So today I have been asked (well several times recently actually) to make up a sample nutrition strategy for women.  Now usually I send people over to the HOLIDAY HEDONISM site and tell them to download the free copy.  It is exactly what they are looking for.
But I do get one complaint from it.  See I don’t use a lot of numbers.  I measure by a handful of this a fist of that.  To me those make more sense than trying to complute grams of this and that.
However I am finding out that not everyone is like me.  And that some people would really like numbers to go off of.  So today I delivered.  Here is a sample 1300 Calorie Nutrition Strategy for women for weight loss.  This is only 1 day but feel free to use it as a template to create other days.
